At Victorian Bird Company, we are not your standard ‘Bird Shop’ with 1000s of overcrowded birds for sale in huge quantities. We are unique, and some of the birds we sell are bred on our property at Hoppers Crossing in Melbourne’s West, in Ferntree Gully and Norlane, Geelong.
We have over 90 breeding cages with breeding birds ranging from Crested Budgies, Lovebirds, and Kakarikis up to pairs of Quakers and Conures.

Hand Reared Birds
If you are looking for Hand Raised Parrot Melbourne, you have come to the right place. Victorian Bird Co. has the most adorable and affectionate hand-reared parrots, which makes them excellent pets. We will help you choose the perfect pet bird for you.
We have our professional hand feeders, which means we can ensure the baby birds we breed are to the highest standard in care, health, and friendliness once they are ready to go to a loving family.

Bird Selling Area at Our Bird Shop
Once the birds are ready to be sold, they come into our Bird Selling Area. We have 72 cages of birds ready for sale in this room, from Hand Reared Baby Tame Birds to pairs of birds ready to breed.
As we have lots of experience, we can get you a definite pair, Male and Female, or we can arrange to get the bird’s DNA, so you are 100% sure. We typically DNA the more expensive parrots.

We also have available from time to time GENUINE breeding pairs of birds that have a proven track record of breeding. If an established couple is what you are after, please let us know.
