Love Bird’s Dietary Requirements
Love Birds are pretty easy to look after if kept in optimum conditions and fed the correct diet. The most important dietary requirements are an excellent quality seed mixture comprising mainly budgie mix, some grey stripe sunflower, and a few hulled oats.
Many supermarket seeds are inadequate. High protein Crumbles are essential as the parents feed these to their youngsters, helping them grow up big and strong and have a supply of fresh water. You can offer a limited amount of fruit and vegetables.
