Pet Shops must offer a Health Guarantee for 7 days for your new Pet. This covers any health problems unseen but traceable to the point of sale. A refund or replacement of an equivalent bird applies. The business is NOT responsible to cover costs for veterinarians or animal health professionals which have been elected to be used by the purchaser.

Victorian Bird Company is not responsible to cover costs for veterinarians or animal health professionals which have been elected to be used by the purchaser. The purchaser is required to contact the store with any health concerns for immediate treatment. Any treatment, if required, will be carried out by Victorian Bird Company authorised veterinarians only.

It is a condition of this guarantee that the sales receipt and the body of the bird (should a fatality occur) be presented when requested.

Victorian Bird Company recommends U-Vet (Werribee) for ongoing support for your new bird. This includes regular check-ups, microchipping (where applicable) and emergency health concerns. They can be contacted on 03 9731 2000

Unsuitability

If an animal is returned within three days for any other reason, the pet shop proprietor must refund 75% of the purchase price or offer a replacement animal with the same guarantee. Hard goods (enclosures, toys, equipment) can only be returned if unused and in original packaging.
