At Victorian Bird Company we have Australian Parrots for Sale.  The prices listed below are for aviary or cage birds that are ‘Not Tame or Hand Rared’ and is a guide only. Bird prices fluctuate depending on the time of the year and the age of the birds. Please use as a guide only and for exact pricing and ‘What is in Stock, please call us on 1300 MYBIRD.

Some birds are difficult or impossible to sex visually. We offer some birds in store that are already DNAd at $30 per bird extra. Prices listed DO NOT include the DNA charge.

Most Common Birds Stocked at VBC Listed Below

LORIKEETS –  Musk, Scaley and Rainbow Lorikeets are all around $75 per bird. There are many mutation Lorikeets on the market and prices vary too much so if you are in the market for a special type and mutation, please send a message.  

ROSELLAS – Western Rosellas  $250 pair make the best aviary bird as they are not too aggressive. Eastern Rosellas $150 pair, Crimson/ Yellow/ Palehead Rosellas $250 pair. Also take into consideration that some Rosellas will need a Wildlife Licence.

PRINCESS – The normal Green and Blue Princess are $199 pair and Yellow and White Princess are $400 pair.

NEOPHEMA SMALL PARROTS – These birds are a GREAT aviary Bird.

Bourkes come in the normal type $79 pair, Rosa $99 pair, Cream $129 pair and Pink Eyed Bourkes at $149 pair.

Scarlets are $149 pair and the Blue mutations start at $200 pair and go up from there.

Turquoise are $129 pair, Opalines and Yellows are $149 pair and go up to $200 pair for the highest quality Red Fronted Mutations.

These ‘Neophema Small Parrots’ Do Not require a Wildlife Licence. 

Elegants are $150 pair and the Cinnamon and Yellow mutations around $200 pair

GRASS PARROTS/ RED RUMPS – Normal Greens are $79 pair and all the mutations vary between $129-200 pair.

From time to time we have for sale Superbs, King Parrots and Regents. We generally do not carry many of these in stock as a Wildlife Licence is required for these birds and the general public do not have a licence.

We do not stock Black Cockatoos, Gang Gangs, Swift Parrots or Major Mitchell Cockatoos.
