Jenday Conure Dietary Requirements
Jenday Conures require a balanced diet to stay healthy.
Their diet should include:
High-quality pellets as the main food source
Daily fresh vegetables such as leafy greens, carrots, and bell peppers
Fruits such as apples, berries, and bananas offered in moderation
Avoid foods such as avocado, chocolate, and caffeine, which are harmful to parrots.

Breeding Jenday Conures
Jenday Conures reach maturity at two years of age and are considered easy to breed.
Breed year-round
Lay 3–5 eggs per clutch
Incubation period: 25–27 days
Chicks leave the nest at around 7 weeks
Fully weaned 2–3 weeks later
A cockatiel-sized nest box lined with parrot nesting material is suitable.
We also sell breeding pairs, all supplied with DNA certificates to confirm genuine pairs ready to breed.
About Jenday Conure Parrots
Jenday Conures are native to northeastern Brazil and belong to the Aratinga family.
They are:
Intelligent and colourful
Active birds that require mental stimulation and exercise
Known to form strong bonds with people
Suitable for family environments
They are easy to train and can learn to talk.
Jendays grow up to 30 cm and can live 15–30 years.
There is no visual difference between males and females, and both make excellent pets.
